VOCAL GIRLS: THE LAUNCH

With the long-awaited return of live events, we are thrilled to (finally) be announcing VOCAL GIRLS: The Launch, coming to The MOTH Club this autumn on Tuesday 19th October. Tickets are on sale via DICE NOW!

VOCAL GIRLS is a change-making music platform that champions emerging artists, with a particular focus on female, non binary and LGBTQ+ talent. The stats show that women are under-represented in the industry, both on stage and behind the scenes, so VOCAL GIRLS was created to help change this.

Founded by Megan Graye in 2020, we are a non-profit, independent platform run by a voluntary collective of young women in the industry. Since launching, we’ve grown our team to twenty, created two podcast series, booked a weekly VOCAL GIRLS CLUB radio show and published over 70 written articles on our website We’ve also been featured on BBC 6music, Harper’s Bazaar and MyLondon, partnered with tmrw, built an extremely loyal social audience, as well as platforming and collaborating with countless artists across digital and audio (including Arlo Parks and Gracey). 

This year we’ve been running our VOCAL GIRLS ON TOUR city series, with great success. As part of our latest London edition, we were able to collaborate with Dr Martens and The Windmill Brixton to launch their new ‘Come Back Better’ initiative. The scheme was created to support artists of marginalised genders who are breaking into the music industry, and culminated in a live Q&A hosted by us and a gig with Goat Girl.
